It is a Mazda reman I got from Malloy, but then I had it sent to a professional builder who ported it and did some other mods. It should put down some serious hp. I can't hardly make myself go in to work today....I want to get started on it NOW!

Reman cost from Malloy is $2,762.60 (this was for an automatic tranny) plus $1,000 core charge. But it came with a new waterpump and waterpump housing and new radiator cap and all that jazz.

Greg went on a different route than normal...I can do better on the engine price and I also "get around" the core charge.

Uh, please elaborate I'm planning on going reman (most likely), and if you can do other work on the engine I'd like to hear what you have.

~Mike

PS The price that Bajaman quoted.... is that shipped to your shop?

Chris's engines are legend, you definitely need to get with him for your particular needs/wants.

And no, the price I paid did not include shipping. I ended up paying $450 to get my engine shipped from Malloy to Chris, from Chris to me, and then my core back to Malloy. This was to Kansas, though.
