New Ecu and Check Engine Light

New Ecu and Check Engine Light
got an XS ecu, pluged it in a started the car a few secnds later the check engine light came on, checked the codes:
code 5 : Knock senor
code 38 : AWS
Any ideas guys? cleared the codes but they cam back up jus as quickly as they did the first time.
