new dyno numbers yesterday at KD.
After ssome serious issues with installing the 1300 cc inj i finally dynoed with power fc, intake, full exhaust, m2 med ic, 1300 cc inj, fuel pump @ 15psi and made 340 rwhp. The turboes and motor are stock with 37k miles. I dynoed at kd rotary. Dave said his dyno has been on the blink lately and been reporting rwhp about 10-20 hp too low. He wants me to come back in a few weeks once it is re-calibrated as he was confident i would make 350-360 rwhp. I dynoed last spring @12 psi and made 297rwhp with full exhaust, intake and power fc so i tend to agree that with the added psi and IC that i am making those levels.
All in all i am extremely happy with the car. It is tuned extremely well as the power curve is very linear and smooth up top. She makes great power and the turboes spool imediately in seq mode....i think i am finally done. blah...maybe just some coilovers now.

So end result is two faulty sets of rc injectors and a ton of stress.

Congratulations, those are good numbers for a stock-ported motor. Mind scanning the dyno sheet? It would be nice to see your A/F ratios and how much low-end torque to retain with a stock-ported engine/mid-pipe combination.
BTW, I keep hearing more and more bad experiences with the RC-bored out 1300cc injectors (leaking or sticking open). I'm beginning to wonder if it might be worth the trouble/expense of just upgrading to 1600cc injectors.....

Great numbers there Matt. Two sets of injectors were bad??? Sounds unusual to me. Have others had any issues with the 1300cc injectors?
Good meeting you yesterday at KDR.

it was good meeting you...your car runs great.
It does sound odd...thats why i kept insisting that there was some sort of electrical problem or something. But with the thrid set in the car it is running great...!!

I guess Dave knows how to tune a PFC, huh?
Did you do any runs at boost levels that won't melt the stock twins? 10psi? 12psi?

14psi ~325rwhp
15psi ~340rwhp
My afr were mid 11s
BTW, 15 psi is fine for drag strip or occassional street encounters.

Nice numbers Matty - for stock engine and turbos, your car put down respectable numbers. 15 psi is fine for occasional bursts but constant abuse and they'll start to melt. That's the main reason I got the BNRs is so I could run 15 psi more efficiently. Dave still didn't get his dyno fixed yet? I know he said the techs found the problem...350-360 rwhp is great tuning from Dave and the good thing is he's pretty conservative. There's been some talk that he's not a good tuner but my car feels incredible and he's got alot of good numbers out of the twins and singles.
