New drip moldings

Quick question for anyone that has replaced the drips moldings. Are there any tricks to get them seated correctly? I'm having trouble to get them flush on the body and they end up moving slightly when the door is opened or closed. I thought they would snap into place but that does not seems to be the case unless I am not using enough force.

Hello. I had recently replaced the moldings on my car and found a similar issue. I took it to a rotary specialist shop and the mechanic was using his hands to press the moldings with quite a lot of force, starting from one end to another. I think you will know once it's in place because you will see it sort of "sink in" into the gap and it will sit flush with the body. Hope this helps.

Thank you! That worked. I was afraid to press that hard with new moldings. They snapped right in. For reference for anyone else, I started from the front and worked my way back with loose screws. Then tightened the screws once it was in place.
