We're waiting to see it on the car. It's not like we've never seen it before. You'd also be better off putting this in the Interior/Exterior section.

i think that bumper is kinda nasty how does that fit in with the rest of the car?? its fat and ugly

im real picky though theres only 2 that I like of all. The 99 bumper and the border type 4 which I WILL have one day along with the knight sports hood. seems like you are doing a lot of changes for cheap on your new car. slow it down think things out and do it the right way. this isnt a huge game to see who can get the most **** on their car the fastest. Its a georgous stock car that should be modded with class and knowledge.

Damn, you should have told me that earlier Surge!J/K

I'll wait to pass judgement when I see it on the car. Its a nice looking bumper IMO though.

I don't like it either. It looks like they got artistic under the blinker lights. The result is too much material and not enough airflow to the oil coolers.

Excellent sentiment and I agree completely.

CRX7: Weren't you the guy posting last week that you didn't have money for a proper ecu with all of the mods you bought? And now you are buying aftermarket body parts?

Oh, since you are asking for opinions, I think the bumper is ugly. I will echo the other members on the comments re: aerodynamics and oil cooler openings...

You can get that bumper on Makoto Auto Trends.com Here is the link. They also have really inexpencive 99 spec combo lights. http://www.makotoautotrends.com/stor...PX&maker=MAZDA

Well it certainly doesn't improve on the work of Mazda's TEAM OF PROFESSIONAL DESIGNERS. You really think that bumper compliments the exterior design of the car better than the oem piece? I'd like to see your middle school art class grades

What it does do, is let you get a 99 style bumper, made of FRP, with at least more ventilation than the stock one, for $472.45+149.10. In addition, knockoff 99 turnsignals are included, that don't need a harness adapter.

So it is probably one of the better, cheaper options for a 99 nose. However that still leaves painting and installation...

obviously it's his car and he can do what he wants with it. But as well all know the majority of us on here firmly believe in performance mods being the primary modifications and secondary being the dress up items I personally don't like that front bumper that much though.

i like it, make sure you get the carbon fiber under diffuser that goes with it to complete the look. Just curiuos though, where did you get it and when are you going to have it installed? Make sure you post pictures when it's on your car

I am actually glad there are people being truthful about the bumper. The car is a weekend toy, and a side project which wont run over 10psi, i know some of you are shaking at the thought of running a measly 10 psi, but its all i need. The bumper is in the shop right now getting painted for 125, i know the guy and did a swap for him this summer. I will post when she is done, as far as fitment, it fits ok, the only problem is that the brackets under the fenders need to be drilled into the bumper, but thats it, also has a nice opening for the FMIC i got. But seriously, thanks for the info, pos or neg.

Wow...I've never seen so much opposition to someone simply wanting to spice up their car a bit. Granted...there are those of us who are all out performance first, and show second, but we ALL have our own personal opinion and taste.

I firmly believe that people should follow their own dreams and decide what's best for what they want. If he wants that bumper then so be it...I think you guys could be a little less critical and at the very least a little bit more FRIENDLY to someone else's choice of style.

Jeez, it's not YOUR car...it's his, and if that's what he likes, then it's his prerogative. You all sound like a bunch of snobby luxury car owners or something.
