new build oil pressure.

Hello
I know this topic has been covered numerous times and I apologize if this info is on the forum, I could not find it. New build on my R1 seems to have very high oil pressure at 150psi or more at about 2000- 2300 rpm. Engine was built with new rotor & stat gear bearings and the Atkins competition oil pressure regulator and had the front regulator shimmed. Oil feed to the single turbo is off the front iron. I was told I would get 110-120 psi with this regulator per my engine builder. I just finished wiring up the car and it will start but not run with out some assistance (working on that part). So it has only run for a few minutes. So my questions are do I need to be concerned with this now? Do I need to start over with the stock FD regulator or will it normalize as the motor breaks in? Only other thing I found in seaching was that if my turbo oil feed has a restrictor in it that may increase pressure as well. I need to verify that it does not (journal bearing). My pressure readings I got were from a pegged stock gauge with brand new sending unit & on the software via a pressure sensor in the Sakebomb oil pedestal. My sensor only calibrates to 150 psi so i do not know the actual pressure. Thanks for the help.

ive had the "crushed "regulator mod on a car before, and would see that high of oil pressures when cold, but once the car was warmed up pressures were around 110 or so.

Does the pressure drop down once the oil has warmed fully?

Thanks for the reply. The car has not run long enough to warm up to operating temp because my tune is not setup correctly yet. My concern is with the turbo oil seals and possible damage to other seals. I'm assuming I need to get the tune corrected get it to operating temp and then address this. Let me know what you think.
