New brake/clutch master cylinder reservoir replacement?

Looked around and cant find any source of the oem tank being sold , only the brake/clutch master cylinder are srill available

has anyone gotten a good replacement with out upgrading to say a 929 unit? Or any unit that needs modding and bending original lines

i looked on rock auto and centric makes a oe replacement. How good is that one ?

im sure some of you out there suffer from the same yellow ugly tank that i have grew tired of.

Typically you get the reservoir with the master cylinder. It's a pain in the *** to take the reservoir off and swap it.

Atkins has the OEM master cylinder with the reservoir -

93-95 Rx7 Brake Master Cylinder (FD04-43-40ZR-0A)

Ray can probably get it for a little less. If the reservoir is crappy looking it's probably time to replace the master as well.

Give Ray a call and see if he can get the reservoir. I struck me that I bought one from him a few years back, but maybe things have changed. I know when you buy a 929 M/C from him it doesn't include the reservoir and you have to swap yours over.

The part you're looking for is F1Y04355X, this is the tank, lid, seals etc and it is still available from Mazda.

Thanks dale, i reached out to ray and he informed me that the tank is no longer available from Mazda and when you purchase the brake master cylinder it doesn't come with the tank
127 for brake, 94 for clutch
so i guess atkins would be my best bet. Thats if they still carry it

Tokico made the original parts for Mazda, so you're good there.
