Hi Jason, I've never seen so many options! Just for price comparisons sake, do you know what suggested retail price is for it...or how much you will be offering it for

About $1800 for the regular version, $2200-$2300 for the race version if I remember correctly, from when I spoke with them last week. I forgot to ask if either would support autos...

hehe, that thing must FULL of features... look how thick it is! haha :p looks like it might be pretty good but for those prices, i think i'll just stick w/ my powerfc. i doubt most people will end up using most of those features. nice that it has a laptop interface tho.

Well, thats MSRP - street prices may be much different. Guy at AEM said that realistic release date is around Feb, as that Hondas come first.

The AEM computer looks nice, but why not just go with a proven product. With both the Power FC and the Haltech available, and all of the information resources available online, why would you want to try something that was unproven and had a higher MSRP. It's cool to see new products on the market, but I'm happy with my power FC, and I've never heard of anyone with a Haltech complain. Just my 2 cents.

Ok if everyone went with a proven product then no one would get anywhere! Also it is electronics ..... so in the end it doesn't necessarily need to be as proven as a mechanical part. Electrical parts usually fail pretty quickly when they do fail (this is why you usually only get 90 days on electronics!).

Right now to get Haltech level of performance and configuration you must hack up some harness in your car because all the good stuff in the PowerFC is hidden except for people @ XS. When that software from "down under " comes through then the PowerFC might just pass the Haltech. Now if the AEM comes through and delivers the product they say they will then there are many inputs for datalogging and outputs for devices that neither of the other computers can do. It also have a pretty nice interface where you can make up your own virtual dash.
