Need Wiring Help JDM --> USDM

hey guys..

if u want the long story short scroll to the last night.. otherwise read on

i bought a JDM front clip.. pulled the motor rebuilt it with new everything..

and swapped it into my FD.. including the engine harness since it was in much better condition than mine.. (no KFC extra crispiness)

after bolting and tightening everything and so close to starting the car..

everything was going well.. minus a couple wires I had to extend.. everything plugged right in to the US spec..

until I've discovered something..

the end of the harness that passes through the firewall..

theres a couple yellow clips that go into the ECU they're the same

the white clip higher up the harness is the same

BUT...

the Blue connector is not the Same..

a) what does this connector do?

b) the JDM has 3 pins on one side 2 on the other.. the USDM one has 2 and 2

c) should I lop of the USDM connector my old harness. and use it on the JDM one?

or should I lop the JDM chassis conenctor off and put it on my US spec chassis?

or should i lop both connectors off.. and try to hard wire them.. hoping they have matching colors?

I need help please.. i really wanna get my car back on the road plz..

I can't.. my US spec harness is exteremely hard and brittle..

the JDM one is soft and pliable and in great on condition..

it's only one connector for pete sake...

there must be a solution!

it's the only one..

after the Big rubber plug that goes against the chassis..

there's a couple yellow connectors that go to the ecu

there's a white connector that goes up under the dash somewhere

and then there's this blue connector..

Yes billy that's the one! the blue one..

it's not 5 pins in total.. just on the 2 "sides" of the plug basically.. there's 2 rows on the left and 2 rows on the right

on the JDM one there's 2 rows on one side.. 3 rows on the other side..
