need something to cover wiring harness with

now that i have my FD pretty much ready to go back together (see pics at http://hometown.aol.com/moxeysrx7/). since i have the wiring harness out i am working on recovering them. right now i just have all the old electrical tape, conduit, ets cut off and it covered in electrical tape. i am looking for something to cover everything witht hat will hold up to heat and if possible stuff like emi. i would like somehting i can spray on but if i have to recover with somehting else i will. i've got some blue plastic spit loom tubing and it looks good but i don't like the fact that it has the split in it. ideally i would like somehting like plast-dip (the stuff the cover tool handles with). has anyone else seen anyhitng that will work to cover the wires with? i can't use heat shrink because i can't find any tha will fit over the connectors and still shrink enough. the only decent idea i have gotten is to get it sprayed with a spray on bedliner type material. anyone know of anything else. and links would be nice if u got them

I would not use black first ,it sticks to the wire and if it is tight and you need to make a bend the wires on the out side of the curve can be pulled and torn, not good I was shown to wrap the wires with fiber glass tape with the sticky side out , then the wires can move in a bend ,then cover the bundle with black tape .I had a broken wire after black tape wrap.Garfinkle found it and rewraped my harness this way ,his and others are done this way

my brother blew the motor in it and i wanted to change the color. i started stripping it down to get it ready for paint and body work. one thing led to another so i just stripped everything excpet the brakes and started over. i am basically building the car exactly how i want it. right down to the stainless allen head bolts i am using to replace all the stock ones.
