Hey everyone, new to the board, just need some opinions(im a long time member over at 3si, but just sold my 3000 about a month ago, and now moving on) So ill try to keep the newb questions to myself. Well I found a 93 original owner 5spd FD. Completly stock aside from a headunit and a"larger than stock dp". Im heading out from long island to ohio to inspect at Byers Mazda. If all checks out I should be bringing it home the 7th. Now mazda will be preforming a 115(correct me if im wrong, its somthint VERY close to that) point inspetion, and i would also like to have a compression test done as well (anyone have what the compression number specs should be?). Anything else i should be looking for? A friend of mine who lives in ohio went and inspected the car for me, drove it, and just basic cosmetic look over as he has no clue about these cars and said it was great. Just need opinions or advice to make sure im making the right choice.

Edit: just a little info on the car, 80k miles, original motor turbos were replaced less than 1k miles ago(replaced blown stockers i believe). "Has all service records" so im assuming everything is done by dealer

Sounds like a promising car. Look underneath for oil leaks and fuel smells, and definitely get a compression test done. Numbers and buyers guide info are in the FAQ.
