Question Need some help and opinions

For all who havent heard my story, I recently bought a 94 R2 with 76k miles on it completly stock. I orderd the mostly basic reliable parts such as: AST, downpipe, high-flow cat, racing beat exhaust, O2 sensor, manual boost contoller, pettit air intake, boost and water gauge. I plan on getting the engine rebuilt and exchanging the turbos for BNRs after I put all the mods on and doing alot of the matainance stuff.

Right know me and my friends are installing the downpipe and doing the matainance stuff. We did the coolant and are going to change the oil today. I know that some oil will not have drained from the coolers and I was wondering how to drain them without having to break the seals.( Heard it was expensive) my fans are also not working( I have read, just a little confusing)

So what do you think? Am I on the right track? I would like to get it to a specialist and get the engine checked out and get everything tuned. My next mods include: FC, possibly the fan mod. Should I look at anything else?

I also have some small problems such as my passenger window not working, my glove box is broken, turn signnals not working, and my AC doesnt work(no idea where to start). I have looked for these things but dont know how to fix them. For the turn signals, I cant find the right fuse. If you can please help. Thanks!

PS- does anyone know some good mechanics in GA? I live near Cumming and about 40 min away from Atlanta. Also where is the closest and best rebuild guy?

Get the fans fixed first. No doubt about it. I would avoid driving it at all, and if you do drive it make it highway driving without boost. At least that way the air will be flowing. Without a water temp gauge you'll be flying blind, and the stock gauge won't prevent you from reaching the lower range of an overheat.

I suggest you download the body electrical troubleshooting manual for some of this stuff (turn signals, window).

A/C is gonna require work by an A/C shop. My advice is to find a good shop, and pay what it takes to do it properly.

The oil isn't a big deal as long as you change it a little more often. I go at more like 2k than 3k and always change the filter. While it's not obsessive-compulsively stupid, it's not very expensive and plenty conservative for any street car.

...lead foot...what the hell does that mean?

...replace the radiator if it's the stock one, fuel lines and FPD..there's an aftermarket FPD/FPR recently posted in this forum thats a nice alternative. Fits stock rail. wouldn't worry about the oil in coolers...
