need some help here, come read if u can...

well my car flooded on sun cause my bro started it up and turned it off after moving it and it was really really cold in the morning. i didnt go anywhere on sun so the car jus sat there and today wen i woke up to work, tried starting it and it wouldnt start so i knew it was flooded.

i went to work using my dads truck and my dad check my spark plugs and they were wet. my dad took out the fuel pump and cranked it to clean the spark plug holes. went and bought some new spark plugs and put them in and it still wouldnt start so we pushed started it and got it fired up.

i let the car warm up and its fine and turns on/off fine. but wen I give it boost and go pass 3K rpm, it'll jerk the car, like the fuel cuts instantly and only happens if i give it boost pass 3k, if i give it gas slowly and no boost, it'll go pass 3K fine, nothing happens.

anything else u guys suggest me to check? i don;t wat else to look for. i have a j&s ultrasafeguard One Channel/Two Channel "Combo" with the dual monitor w/2way air fuel display and before it'll be in the yellow to green wen i drive it, but now wen i start accelerating, jus giving it gas, it'll be in the red.

thanks for ur help

you said your dad took out the fuel pump. do you mean fuel pump fuse? if he took out the fuel pump, maybe it has been installed incorrectly. hose maybe kinked...

otherwise check to see if the map sensor is connected? it's easy to knock the vacuum hose or the plug off

Yes check to see if the fuel pump is grounded/hooked up correctly. It could also be the map sensor.

Basicly check all connections and go back over what changed/touched durring the whole process.

There is a little black box, I think the maf sensor?? Maybe its the map sensor I forgot. Its located on the firewall to the right of the UIM.

A vaccume line w/ a black plastic check valve runs from it to the back of the UIM.

Check to make sure the vaccume line is propery connected, this can cause exactly what you are describing. I know from experience =o

Hope it is as easy as that.

my guess is the spark plug wires have been put back on wrong. don't drive the car until you are certain the leading and trailing plug wires are connected correctly, you can cause some serious engine damage otherwise.

reset the ecu, your probablly in limp home mode. just unhook the battery and step on the brakes for like 20 secs, id do it for like 1 or 2 mins though and then hook it back up and go for a test drive.

I highly doubt the cat is your issue in this case. But I do remember a year or so ago, I was having boost issues, like out of no where I couldnt boost over .4 bars, I got really mad at the car on the highway going about 65 so I just dropped it into 3rd gear and mashed the throttle, all of a sudden my boost came back and it felt like my car had an orgasm it just took off!!!

Anyways, I got home and backed my car into the garage, as I was doing a walk around, dusting it off I see something hanging from the exaust tip... hmm thats wierd, so I reach and pull it out, I pulled out a 3 ft long piece of wire mesh from my exaust!!! Where the hell it came from I'm not sure, but yea. Sorry this story has nothing to do with your issue but I remember how amazed I was when I pulled that thing outa my car.

I would think just to drive it around for a few more miles. If the engine was flooded, gas could still be working it's way out. I know it doesn't seem likely but who knows with these rotaries, anything's possible
