need some clarification

Ok, so I've been looking for a vac hose diagram and came upon this one.. the simplified one.

Do I need to install blockoff plates if I go this route? What kind of obstacles would I run into?

My car is stock.

If you remove those items with a stock ecu, you will get a CEL unless you install resistors for everything you remove. The car will not run properly without them.

You can pretty much remove all that stuff with a single turbo and PowerFC. I think someone posted a simplified diagram for single turbo setups in the single turbo section -- you might want to consult that for details. The PowerFC doesn't care that the solenoids are missing, so you don't have to install resistors.
