Need some advise
Hey i have a quick question i was hoping some people might have an opinion on. My car is having some fuel issues...most likely its a fuel pulsation damperer going out or something with the fuel pressure regulator which is stock. I am going to go ahead and replace both as well as upgrade from stock injectors to 850 primary and 1300 secondaries which i already have waiting to go in. I also have a nippondenso fuel pump installed now just for reference.
Ok heres my question: would you recomend going with an aftermarket fpr or would the stock one do ok. My plans are to run about 14 to 15 psi and i have the suporting mods so it will be ready to go. I am wondering if the stock fpr would be a chick in the armor or if it would work fine. I would personally rather stick with stock if it would work alright but i am open to suggestions. What do you guys think?

I am using The sx fpr and it has a fpd built in .850cc pri and 1680 cc sec I adjusted the pressure to 40 psi one time some years ago and it is working fine .With 850cc pri injectors and 40 psi the idle is smooth .It may not be as smooth with lower pressure . I vote for the aftermarket fpr .I always use a 1 to 1 ratio rising fpr .
