Exclamation Need some advice

Ok a little background on car, it's a 93 r1, 67k on chassis, 4-5k on remain(from previous owner), i've done apex-i intake, hks bov, downpipe (stock midpipe) and hks cat back. Now onto what happened, I just got done porting the wastegate because of boost spikes, last weekend put it all back together seemed fine, and boost spike was only down to 1-2 lbs. Only problem I noticed after reassembly was a whinning sound and figured it to be just the alt, air pump belt I put back on too tight. So car drives fine and I drive it to the gym only like usual (i have a beater as a daily driver), but coming home last night I went same way home as usual and go over some rough road, slow around 5 mph and then there was a kinda pop sound nothing really loud. As I get throught the intersection and processed to speed up I have no boost, ok I figure must be a ic pipe, no biggie right...wrong. As I'm limping home(about 10 miles) im only like 3 miles from home and all of a sudden white smoke comes out of the exhaust and fills the road up behind me, so I stop immediatley and turn car off. I was kinda scared since I didn't have a fire ext with me, and especially after that guys post of his exhaust catching on fire. Well i get out o car and no flames just smoke still a little coming out exhaust, car is off. So I look and dont see any obvious leaks, ic pipes seem on fine, soo look at oil lvl, it's a little low. I add some oil and try to start car, starts fine, idles fine but smokes so back off. I get towed home by my dad and now car is in garage. I'm not sure what it is, car idles fine, starts fine, but no boost and when reved it'll smoke (white). I'm not sure where to start looking??? Anyone have any ideas??

Sorry for the long story and thanks in advance for any help.

Start with the basics: check the MAP sensor hose, pull the plugs and see if they're wet with coolant.

While you have them out, crank the engine and see if the rotors make a consistent whump sound. (Poor man's compression test).

If it passes both of those tests, and no other lines or hoses are popped off, I'd say it's time to inspect the turbos (I believe that means pull them) to see if that's the problem. More info about the smoke smell/nature might help.

I checked MAP sensor when I was on the side of the road waiting on my tow to come. Ill check the plugs and do the poor man comp test either tonight or tomorrow. I'm thinking it could be the turbo's so i'll probably pull the compressor outlet's off to see if they're dead. It's a little weird they didn't have much shaft play when I just had them off, good thing there easy to take off. The smoke was white, not bluish white like some oil burns are. Smell was not of coolant at all, just a burnt smell with a faint smell of oil......that's the best I could describe it. thanks for the direction to start looking in.

I'd also take off the belts and see if the air pump, alternator, etc are still working ok. Since you said they were acting funny perhaps there is something there also.

I hope one of the guys with more engine diagnostic experience chimes in - I just answered since your question hasn't had attention yet.
