Need some Advice
I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much my rx7 is worth in dollars. I may be forced to sell it. I don't want to so I won't if it is at all possible. I have someone interested though and I have a 94 R2 model. It is red with tan leather and has 71k on it. The car is in mint condition both in the interior as well as exterior. I know the R2's are pretty rare so I'm interested to know a price range. Thanks for all info!

If it's bone stock, good condition, including motor and turbo control system, I'd say probably in the $15-16k range.
If I were you, I'd take it to a mechanic, have a compression test done, and keep the results sheet if all checks out well. Any knowledgeable buyer will want a compression test, and it'll save you time to get it done yourself.

It has an HKS exhaust and autometer carbonfiber gauges but that's all. I guess I thought that the R2 model would have gone for a little more. Thanks for your input!! I greatly appreicate it!

I'm not terribly sure about it being an R2, but from what I've seen, an RX-7 is an RX-7. They all go for about the same amount. Maybe a little more or less depending on model, but the truth is if the new owner is looking to modify it at all, everything that makes it an R1, or an R2 would change anyways, or not matter. The mechanics are all the same, just simple things like suspension settings and texture of seats that change.
