Need to remove upper and gauge cluster.. can someone help me??
Hi,
Well, I need to remove the gauge cluster and upper consol.. can someone help me.. I have a factory repair manual, but not too helpful.. If someone could take a pics of removal or step me thru that would be great!
Thank you!

its not that bad, theres one screw that holds the gauge cluster in under the cig lighter, i think thats it, the rest is held on by clips. take off the steering column covers (3-4 screws on the bottom) first and then pull the entire gauge cluster assembly straight horizontally towards yourself. then when you have that whole thing out of the way, you can unscrew the two hidden screws that hold the left side of the upper console in place, next to the heater controls. all of the small indented number labels on the heater controls come off with the control unit from the back, and the ***** come off from the front. everything on the gauge cluster assembly unscrews from the back too, except for the green turn signal lenses. you can pry those off very carefully and then reattatch them with a good epoxy.
hope this helps.
are you covering the whole thing in carbon fiber film? post pics of the work!

Thanks.. I tried what you have stated.. But still not coming out.. I don't want to put too much pressure..
Yeh,... I am trying to CF film the thing.. I will post some pics.. but I think its going to be difficult.. I have an CF look alike dash kit.. but its not that great.. So, I rather just try to do it..
I will try again.. If you could take some pics of the parts or screws I would appreciated!
