My car is at a local body shop and they will work on my car tomorrow. I am putting a full C-west bodykits and the C-west GT wing install along with bodyworks. Now should I go with the stock vintage red or a custom tricolor from Dupont which is a 3 stages with blue pearl in it. What do you guys think. There are too many colors to choose from. I decided not to paint the engine bay because it will cost more and the thing is that I want something to go with the engine bay without going to a different color. My car is going for show circuit so a regular paint job wouldn't do it.
yaaaa
Go for kermit the frog green!!
I would think that if you are trying to compete in shows that you will have to get the engine bay painted. I don't speak from experience but those cars are 110% perfect and I would think that an engine bay of a different color would penalize you big time.
I would not go stock red...I have never really like the red (i.e. I like red just not mazda stock FD red). It always seemed to have a dull appearance.
I would go the triple yada color you mentioned or porsche silver!!
The viper blue color is also sweeet.

I've always liked the factory red on the MKIV Supra. That's what mt friends is and it is a great color. Its a few shades darked than VR and it looks AWESOME when its cleaned up. And they are close enough together that you shouldn't notice much of a difference between the exterior and the engine bay.
Just my $.02
