Need Opinions!!
hey guys just want some opinions on this setup or if it will even work considering the N1 eliminates the Cat. Let me know what you guys think or if you have a better exhaust setup suggestion. Also if the N1 racing exhaust is even street legal.
I have a Stock '93 RX7 t/t
and was looking at this setup
Bonez 3" Stainless Steel Performance Converter System
A’PEXi N1 Racing Exhaust or GReddy Japanese Spec Racing Exhaust (you tell me)
heres the site they are on: http://rx7.com/store/rx7/fdexhaust.html#convertersystem
Thanks,
Justin

If you are running stock ECU then I’d say no. If you have a way to keep the boost at 10 you should be ok. As for street if you are running cat less no but only way the cops would know is if they crawled under your car. Also cat less the car is going to be loued and defiantly over the DB limit for street use.
That setup will be fine as long as you control boost to 10 psi (using a manual or electronic boost controller). I would STRONGLY recommend not going with the N1 exhaust, as it is ungodly loud and sounds like ****, IMO.
thank you for your help.
But I've heard the apexi N1 eliminates the cat. does it? and if so there is no point in buying the high performance cat right? should i just buy a downpipe?
let me know what you think
Thanks alot ,
Justin

Get a Racing Beat Dual tip. Super high quality, sounds great, looks good too. Not as freaking loud as the N1. More mellow and a little lower. Not too loud inside the car either. I debated this for a long time, I like the look of the N1 dual but, again, too loud. I know some people with the N1 and when they drive away I'm like, Holly crap that is freakin LOUD!!

It doens't replace both the main cat and the cat back, just fits right in where the catback used to be. With a full exhaust (DP, MP,) and that cat back (N1- single or duals) you will get a very loud and deffinate 2 stroke sound. The resonated mid will help but it's pretty much straight through.
