Need new clutch
Hey guys,
It seems that my clutch couldn't take the abuse of the dyno and is close to calling it quits. Any advise on a good clutch for the rex that can take good street/strip abuse and have a smoothe pedal?
I was thinking about the HKS twin disk. Does anyone here have one? Does it chatter? Alot or just a bit? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks all,
Mario

OS Giken twin is the ****! Changes your clutch from pull type to push type. Makes changing the clutch a snap. Rebuild kit(2 disks, 2 plates, new screws) costs appx $500. Should last quite a while. A NEW OS Giken clutch will come with Flywheel, bird cage, 2 disks, 2 plates, clutch cover, bolts, pull to push hardware, throwout bearing.
A little bit of chatter when the clutch is pushed down. Once engaged, can't hear a thing of course. The 500+ rwhp guys use it without slipping. Supposed to handle stupid amounts of torque.
3 types of Os Giken clutches...A type, B type and C type. I have the B. A type is the smallest, C type is the biggest...I think...I'll have to look in the catalog to make sure.
