Like the title says.I need to know which shops in the entire country do the auto to 5 speed swap. Not only local shops.Websites or phone numbers and your experience with them.If no one knows of such places then please let me know who here has done this swap and where are you located? i live in colorado and wish to do the swap but I would rather pay someone to do this if theyve already done such a swap.Thanx.

thanx guys for the advice.Right now the best option would be for me to swap the thing.Mainly because I have replaced so many parts with new ones.It would be a waste.Where are you located ejmack? How long would it take you to do the swap?
Same goes for the guys at rx7store.
Thanx for the replies once again.

sorry godzilla but I know all the parts can be had for about 1500 bucks.3000 grand for labor buys you a engine rebuild. If everyone wants that much me and my father in law who happens to be a mechanic and has acess to a shop will just do it ourselves.
What about you ejmack?

What if I fly you out to sunny Southern California for a 2 day stay in a luxerious hotel where you will eat cheese and sip wine all night?

1500bucks for parts will be stretching it, and thats probably using a used slave cyl, master, stock flywheel, a tranny with no idea on how many miles on them ect.. I just did it with close to new transmission, brand new slaves and masters, light flywheel, nice clutch, custom braided clutch lines everything and it eclipsed your 1500dollar mark.

I did my swap about 2 months ago and it ran me around $3500-$4000 in parts alone. I did get mostly new parts and performance parts, but I don't know about $1500. A little low IMO. Good luck though.
