Need Info on 4.30/4.70 gearing and KAAZ
I am doing some planning for the future, ie. more HPs.
I know I will replace the diff with a KAAZ, but I have been trying to decide if I want to change the ratios and if so which one.
One reason is mainly for the top gearing; ie. I don't really care about going 180+, but rather have the car at a more usable RPM when cruising on the freeway at 70 or 80+.
Anyone using different gearing, and anyone out there using a combination of the diff with the gearing, please post some observations/problems encountered.
Thanks,

The diff won't affect your gearing change. I have the Kaaz and love it. BTW...if you don't use "Kaaz" diff fluid it will chatter a little. When I switched to the Kaaz fluid it was like driving the stock diff until I launch at the track and hook up like a beiiicchhh!!
