Need help understanding a "strange" clutch leak

Today, I've replaced the clutch slave cylinder (because clutch pedal didn't want to release back and the fluid was leaked/drained) and started pumping the pedal to build pressure, and after few minutes still no pressure, so went under the car to check the bleed nipple and noticed drops (yellow fluid) (see the pic), then all of a sudden it started bursting a lot of fluid from same place - see the video.

And the video is here:

Any idea why this can happen?
Just for the record there is a tweeting/chirping sound coming from the engine bay which started around same time when the clutch pedal lost the pressure.
Also for the record, the old slave cylinder was very wet on the tip (that goes inside the transmission housing) so I guess it was leaking.

Thanks!

The slave cylinder wasn't lined up with the clutch fork. You pumped the pedal, the piston/rod in the slave has now come out and you just lost all your clutch fluid.

It's a pain, but welcome to the club. Everybody has to do this at least once .

Remove the starter and you should have plenty of access to get all the parts of the slave cylinder. Put it all together, line it up properly, fill with fluid and bleed.

Thanks for the replies, billyboy and DaleClark!

Dale - did as you suggested and it's all good now. The chirping sound has gone too. Thanks again
