Unhappy Need Help - Sard FPR won't hold >20lbs?

The presure gauge jumps up and down spasticaly if over 20lbs is set.

OEM fuel pump replaced with Apexi GTR but same problem.
This happens on idle with RC-Eng cleaned 850's but PFC settings not changed.
I can't remember the shop I got it from and I can't go back far enough on ebay or paypal to find out but I know he said he got them from Japan. I suppose it's possible it could be a chinese replica since their are chinese Walbros replicas. Well Sard has a USA office now but will not warranty purchases from Japan. I tried to use Rotaryextreme but they don't have an account with Sard USA. I will try a new one tomorrow but is it possible that it could be connected wrong and/or something else could be the problem? I beleive she is runnign lean because the black heat coated exhaust manifold is glowing red like bbq charcoals.

I have the small size and I know I will be at it's limits or just under (550hp max) but this problem is at idle. I can feel my hair turning grey as I type!

Well just buy it from Dynamic Autosport, that's where I bought the replacement from. They are an authorized reseller for everything. I've never heard of one failing and it's supposed to be the most popular FPR in Japan. Allthough I am worried about using the small one. On ROtaryextreme they claim it's good to 550hp but on ebay and I think Takakaira also it says 450hp. That won't cut it for my setup and i'll have to buy the larger one for $100 more. The best thing about it is being able to still use the stock fuel lines. If it's the regulator then i'll post again tomorrow.

^ A'motive requires new fuel lines and the Sard allows you to retain the OEM rubber lines. Since i'm kissing the smog laws *** and trying to make a semi stock sleeper I will try another one. I've never heard of a Sard failure before and they claim they have never had a return before. I'm not trying to start rumers and every start saying they are bad just because of this thread. It could be bad, it could be a chinese replica, it could be something else. I am out of money and my tune session is next friday, so i'm almost out of time to fix this or choose driving to Texas or go with XS.
