Need help removing front pulley boss on 93r1
Have my engine on the engine stand and am ready to remove front pulley boss lockbolt. Question? Is this backwards threads or just on there real tight?
I am at a standstill with engine tear down until I get this nut off. Please help.

Are you talking about the front e-shaft bolt? If so, yes it's in there really tight. Like over 300ft/lbs tight, with RTV. You just need to get a REALLY long breaker bar and go to town. It' standard thread. Lefty loosy.
What I did was "lock" the flywheel with a piece of metal stock bolted to the transmission bolt hole and to the pressure plate bolt hole. I hope you didn't take it off yet, or start taking the engine apart because it will be nearly impossible to do with the engine partially torn down already.

Thanx man
Love the quick response to my question.
Flywheel is on still. I made a flywheel retainer from 1/4" flat iron. It bolts to 2 holes on my Shade Racing flywheel and goes down to the bottom of my engine stand and bolts there. Nice tool, but it only works on engine stand. I have been using MAC 1/2 ratchet with 24" pipe. Guess I'll get a 6' pipe.
Thanks again.

I only used a 1'' breaker bar, it was maybe 3 feet. I heated it up a bit and just went to town. At one point I was holding my whole body in the air on the breaker bar and kind of "bouncing up and down"... so to speak. It eventually came loose.

I got it off bc
Got it off, used both handles of one of my floor jacks. Something else I noticed is there are some ugly grooves in my flywheel and my ACT clutch disc seemes thin in the skin on the flywheel side? Only has 3-4 thousand miles on it and I never side step the clutch. Heck I only drive this car a few thousand miles a year? Guess I will have to address this issue during this project too.
By the way the project this winter is to go single turbo (GT35R), Ultimate fuel system, and some more porting. Along with all the other misc. things that come up. Oh yeah, more polishing too.

Search next time its been covered a few times.
For one of the engine tear down's i ended up heating it up with a nice torch and then then taking a impact gun to it. The heat made a world of difference without it it wasn't budging.

Nice, you got it off. Flywheel wear/clutch wear is unavoidable but post it up or get a professional opinion if its excessive.
Might have something to do with your clutch pedal adjustment you might have it adjusted to extremely.

Right on
I have a feeling my pedal adjustment could be an issue. I am going to go ahead and get a new clutch disc and the mate-surface disc for my Shane Racing flywheel and check adjust more carefully and a few times after car has been back on the road. Wish I had a digital camera to take more pictures, but I figured I need parts more than pictures. I can use my sons cell phone camera if I have to. I have had this car for a long time and I will never get rid of it.
