Hello,
After weeks of searching here and nopistons I have not found what I need. Maybe its just me.
Does anyone have a step by step documented write up on installing a KAAZ LSD in a 3rd gen FD3S?
Me and a friend will attempt this tomorrow and will need all the help we can get!
Thanks in Advance. Any help appreciated.

take out old diff, install kaaz exactly opposite. if you need hlp doing that, use the manual from www.iluvmyrx7.com
that's how i did mine and it is fine

should be able to get it at any good auto parts store. the manual will explain how to use it. i took a bunch of measurements of both my diffs, side by side. everything was completely identical, so i figured it was gonna be close enough. i'ts got at least 13k miles on it with no problems
Probably NAPA or Autozone or equivalent store.
However,..If you do not have experience setting the backlash I highly suggest taking the diff into a pro to have that set. I am not being mean or doubting your ability, it is just a BIG tolerance that HAS to be correct or MAJOR damage can occur. IE: stripped ring and pinion, galled ring and pinion from being to tight, Gear Whining from being to tight etc...
If you are lucky as I was The backlash stayed the same. I replaced ALL the bearings and races in the housing while it was out. Make sure to string the spacers(shims) and bearings from each side onto a zip -tie or other method of keeping things in order. Label each one RIGHT or LEFT so you do not mix them up.
Again this is a VERY important tolerance that you are dealing with. Make sure you or someeone else does it correctly and carefully. Use the factory service manual for help along the way. I have done a bunch of these and i still use the FSM for reference at least 5 times during ANY given project. They are a priceless tool.

Call your local auto parts/accessory suppliers for a RunOut Gauge. Kinda expensive but has use for many applications. If you don't think you would ever use it again call around and see if a local shop can install it and set it properly.
Also found the FSM for the stock specs of the LSD
