need help!!!!! pettit intake installation

I am trying to install the pettit intake that I just bought used, It came with no directions. Ive got every thing on except one hose is left and one opening on the metal pipe thingy on the passenger side of the metal pipe. I assume the left over hose on the right goes in the open thing on the pipe on the left but i cant get it to reach.

when i got the intake it came with a metal pipe thing, 3 filters, a heat shield, and one rubber hose. Is this every thing or was there supposed to be another hose?

also, Is this even a very good intake? Is it going to be a lot better than the stock air box with a k and n filter?

It's a good intake but wasn't worth the money for me. I think my money could've been spent more wisely.

i have two openings left over, one on the aem manifold thing that came with the intake. and one on the car, I would think that I should connect the two holes except for they are on opposite sides of the heat shield.

If anybody thinks they can help I have a pic showing the intake and the left over holes. I was unable to attatch it so I will have to email it to you. please give me your email if you could help me.

Thanks, mike

I figured out that the hole on the left is for the stock bov so i plugged it , and the other hose was supposed to go to a silencer and just release air. It sounds like crap without the silencer so I made a resonator out of my little brothers paintball hopper, it works nicely now. thanks for all the help though.....
