For the past few months my car has been leaking oil and i thought it was coming from a leak in my intercooler. but we changed intercoolers and the oil is
still showing up, it goes all over the top of the intercooler, all over the black plastic on the air intake box, and splatters on to the hood too? What could this be? please help

 

check all your clamps on the intercooler hoses. My OEM clamp to the Y-pipe was damaged and couldn't tighten properly causing me a big boost leak and a burning oil smell. The dealer said the turbos were leaking oil, but i have not seen a drop leaked since I replaced the clamp. It'd be a good start to check your clamps and make sure they are all on tightly. If you find one with damaged teeth, remove it and replace. you may be able to bend the teeth back in place with pliers too.


It is normal for the FD to have some oil in the intercooler hoses I understand.

 

So no one else knows?
