Question need help fixing tachometer

I need help fixing my tachometer. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't its really annoying. It seems like a connection issue. If possibly please show pics of what wires I need to mess with in order to fix it.

I have heard it's bad solder joints in the tach. I've personally never tackled the job, but it's not that uncommon.

If you're not comfortable with electronics and soldering, PM Icemark. He rebuilds FC electronics and Lexus electronics for a living, and fixing an FD tach would be a cinch for him. He's a good guy and will take care of you.

It is the solder joints. I just replaced mine. It would only jump from 1K to 3K during acceleration...then lay back down to 0 the whole time.
