Need help finding a part #

While tearing down my engine, I broke a ******* part and can't find the Mazda part #! I called Ray Crowe and he sent me a part but it's the wrong one. I can't find it on any of the part diagrams. Hopefully someone can help me out on this. Here is a pic of it.

When I was watching the engine removal Bruce Torentine called it a Turbo Controller Valve solenoid.

It came off the top of the LIM (it connects right to the LIM). I believe it was connected into the rats nest.

No, not that I remember. The 2 vac. lines that went to it went down. I can't remeber what the other one is connected to.

you say it was not a turbo control valve so it should be purge control valve

Before you go any further, if you are worried about breaking parts and finding part numbers, know a little bit about what exactly you are taking apart before you start "tearing down" your engine. Refer to the vacuum hose diagram and trace the hose back. If it came off the LIM, then it is the turbo control solenoid which would be right next to the Air Control Valve.

Refer to this:

THANK YOU FOR THAT PICTURE!!!! It looks like it's in the first picture. It's the highest Vac. hose connecter (in the pic) with 2 coming out the side. I that looks like it.

I did use that when I was looking for it, but I don't know what the part # is. It's the Solenoid Valve (Turbo Control).

Thanks for the fix it link, but I'd rather just replace the parts. (So I know that there won't be any leak or won't break later on)

Yeah... I bought them both new in a set from Ray at Malloy. I believe this is the correct info.

Description: Valve, Duty Solenoid
Part Number: N3A1-20-285
List Price: $183.86
Malloy Price: $105.06

It came with both solenoids (including the mounting bracket). I bought them just about a year ago, so prices may have gone up.

Hope this helps you out! Good luck.

It's not those... It's the Solenoid Valve (Turbo Control). On the diagram, if you look a little higher, and over to the left a little, you will see it...

If that's the part you need the part number and pricing I gave you is not correct. Still give Ray a call at Malloy, he fix you up based on what you know now.

Sorry for the misinformation (but hey at least you got the diagram now ).
