NEED HELP FAST!...solenoid question
okay...i have FINALLY got the hose rack off...but quess what...i too broke a nipple it is the double throttle control one...i read from other post that i don't really need the egr solenoid. so i was thinking i could just use the broke one as the egr...since it doesn't really matter from what i have read. but if i was to just do without the egr solenoid...what do i do about the hoses that would plug into it...just leave them open, or block them off.
thanks,
mike

Yes, you can use the EGR valve solenoid. Put a plug on both the metal tubes after you remove the solenoid. Make sure that you secure the plugs well.
You can leave the EGR in place. It is normally closed, or you can buy a block off plate.
