Well I just broke the sensor on the EGR, and was hopeing if there was somebody that has used a resister or something to prevent the service light from coming on. I have read in a few of the old post about egr and that you need to keep it so you dont get a check light. The car is a California spec car but Im not useing any of the smog stuff.

 

Information to set-up the relay are in the old posts you read. I set this up and it works fine.

 

Hey thanks I guess I should of read a few more of the old post. So you tried this set up? So did you remove any of the vacuum line or just pluged line on the outside of the LIM?

 

Depends if you want the EGR to still function. I plugged up the vacuum line from LIM to EGR and ran lines from wiring harness to relay and wires from EGR sensor plug to relay. Eventually when I have to take LIM off, I'm going to install a block off plate for EGR.
