Need help with boost problem
I've posted on here a couple of times and I'm very greatful for the answers. I have a red '93 FD TT with 72,000 miles all stock, except for the rims. I finally got the car running and it has even passed emissions etc. (It's awesome!)
The problem it is doing is when you get on the gas it cuts out at about 6psi, or if you really step into it. It's like it is accelerating hard, then the fun just stops, until you let up some, then it goes like hell some more.
I don't race it, and won't but I'd love to figure this one out. I'm praying it is just a sensor somewhere that needs replaced. Other then that and the power antenna not going down (ever) it's a dream to drive and gets the looks from everywhere.
Any idea's?

Make sure the check valve to the vac. chamber is good. If it is not holding vac. then when the boost starts building, the vac. needed by the charge control is not there, and boost starts to bleed back into the sec. turbo.
Also make sure your fuel filter is clean.
