Turbo removal

Just a quick question, does the drive belt and alternator need to be removed while taking off the turbos? I know the airpump does, I searched, but couldn't find if these had to also.

If you are removing the airpump the belt will come off of the main pulley and the alternator as well. Other than that its just a bunch of hoses, oil lines and the studs. Make sure you have a good penetrating oil for the studs/nuts. Mine all came out fine, but I know they are know to snapping, let them soak a good day, and if you have heat available that will help as well.
