Not tryin to be an ***, but that is the point of this forum. Get you the answers you need. This topic has been covered many times. As well as many others. That's why we have the database cuz some people get tired of giving the same answers all the time. If you can't find something THEN you ask.

HKS anything is a quality product. Fits great. Their exhaust systems are plenty quiet if you keep your stock cat.

I used to have it in my old FD, loved it. Worked great. I'm currently having a custom dual HKS carbon TI exhaust made.

Exhaust system pics/sound/video clips:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-gen-general-discussion-322/post-pics-your-exhaust-system-buyers-guide-392922/

that's in the FAQ sticky btw. I think that exhaust looks great. sounds slightly loud for my fear of harrassment, just like most other straight through exhaust with the same style... apexi N1, greddy... etc..

sorry if i came off as rude, but ive read what HKS has said about their products i just wanted to know what it sounded like and how loud it was, ive got a Greddy Sp2 right now it sounds nice but it looks kind of wierd and sounds like a muscle car at idle, and im not questioning the quality of HKS i know their good stuff

p.s. ive got a downpipe and midpipe

IMO, Greddy makes the best "sounding" exhaust for the FD. I used to own the older Power Extreme. My issue with the Greddy exhausts is that they are typically overly large. The Power Extreme was huge which was one of the reasons I replaced it. I'm now using the HKS Carbon Ti.

The HKS is much louder. The main issue reported by owners of the HKS unit is the exhaust hanger in the rear tends to break. Mine hasn't been on my car long enough to know or experience the problem but I can see it happening as that rear hanger is not all that beefy.

Blitz NUR Spec...after a highflow cat...I actually like the sound better than the Greddy TI...throaty and deep, but not as obnoxiously loud.
