My driver side door lock looks like someone took a screwdriver to it..but I guess it's just wear and tear.
Where to get a set with keys for the best price?

Thanks guys

MAZDA....I think thats the only place, you got to suck it up... sucks.. Also after you change the locks then you will have different keys for your doors then your ingnition and trunk.. SUCKS!!

Well......a good locksmith will key your new locks to match your ignition.
Really, this is pretty easy. I took my door locks apart when I got my car, as I had to fix the burnt out light bulb and my lock was sticky, so I just took the whole thing apart, the ENTIRE lock....tumblers and all (WATCH those little tiny springs if you do this, they FLY!)
Anyways, you will see that each tumbler is identified and of a certain height. All the locksmith does it make the tumbler pattern in the new door lock match the ignition.

cool wish I was in the states. You know that little flap, I assume it to keep dirt, water and other crap like that out of the lock. While mine broke, after I pulled out all the broken pieces, I went to mazda to see if I could just get the flap.... THEY said nope.."you have to buy the whole lock".. So thats not true? I dont have time to play with my own door locks...do you think a locksmith could fix that?

I had my keys stolen and I added a motor to my driver's side door so it can open when I disarm my alarm and disabled my doors and trunk. The dealer wanted to charge me $1k to replace all my locks. If you want to be able to use your key, I would do what bajaman suggested.

WOAH HORSIE !!

Don't bother getting it from Madza I'm sure you will be royally screwed without KY jelly.

My driver door lock was breaking keys ( last count 11 keys).

I ordered a set driver and passenger side for my FD ..got them from MADZATRIX. Ask for Henry and tell him that Richard from Trinidad put you on to him..might be worth a few bucks off the price.

http://www.mazdatrix.com/in-locks.htm

All you have to do is take them to a locksmith and he will line them up to match the ignition and trunk ..install them !

Mazdatrix.com has the locks for:-
part numbers - Left Door - 76-220C-FD01 - $49.50
part numbers- Right Door 76-210C-FD01 - $ 49.50

Remember all those hard to find OE type things..get them from either Madxatrix or Mazdacomp ( now Mazdaspeed) ..don't pay dealer price for anything.
