about to purchase fuel system...PLEASE help

i have been searching for ever now...and still haven't come up with what i should get. seems like some products are iffy. i know i am going to need need to upgrade my fuel system...but i really need somebody to just flat out tell me what to buy. my mods are they typical:
stock motor
intake
FMIC
power fc ecu
exhaust
downpipe
midpipe (in the mail)
block off plates for non-sequential (in mail)

looks like the denso and walbro are iffy products...but they are cheaper which is good. and i am lost when it comes to injector size. i don't plan on going single any time soon, but you never know...i'll get bored and will have to buy something before long (there isn't too much else i can buy ) so please...somebody tell me the right stuff to buy...(cost isn't too important) just give me an idea!

thanks,
mikey

What i would do since your getting 2 the point where you need this stuff but dont have 2 have it is. Get a denso or walbro pump like you said for drop in, or you can also get the supra pump. Then there is also the skyline pump if you can get one of those. For injectors i would just go ahead and stick with the 550L and go 1300 or slightly smaller for Sec. and run them at a lower duty cycle.

BTW.. Anyone know whos FC that is in his avatar??

i have almost the same setup and i had rc engineering clean my pri's and bore out my sec's to 1300cc/min. i would recommend you to do this. i have the denso pump. it is a good upgrade. i dont know why it is marked as "iffy". the wahlbro is good to. its also like 130.00 dollars. thats nice and cheap. replace your fuel pulsation damper also!!! youre already there. . . and it WILL go out. take your time with everything. when you take your primaries out there should be two little rubber washers that go between the fuel rail and the motor. they are more like collars. be careful. plug everything up with some kind of a papertowel or something. . . preferrably a lintless towel. ill have to dig, but i have the part numbers for the collars and the fuel pulsation damper.

I have 1300cc RC eng secondaries. RP likes to put brand new 850s in the primary slots. Some fabrication required, and the idle can be smoothed out with the power fc.

DO NOT get a walbro. I had one. They're small as hell (smaller than stock) and I've heard numerous stories of failures.

Get the Supra TT one. Dave at KDR told me it was the biggest that can fit in the stock location.

When it comes to your fuel system, I wouldn't **** around; a motor rebuild isn't cheap. Get the best you can...

...I've only heard good things about the walboro pump. They are definitely smaller than stock, but 255 lph and the price, you can't really beat it. I know that Dragon/Igy/Rutt/FD Okinawa and a bunch of people here have been using them for YEARS(3+) and have had no problems with fuel.

Also, even though they're small, that doesn't necessarily make them bad.

That's the first vote of confidence I've heard for them. An employee at RP told me of numerous failures, and Dave at kdr agreed. When you're dealing with a pump, be it for fuel or anything else, it makes sense that volume=greater longevity. That Walbro may flow 255l/hr, but how stressed is it at that flow rate?

Sounds like you Okinawa guys have had good luck with the Walbro

Just sharing my opinion...
