Get under your car and find out. I doubt you'll find someone willing to spend many hours measuring every part under the car, nevermind that people have different parts under their car as well.

Just for clarification, you are going to create an underbody and ducting for the car, based on someone elses dimensions?

3" x 8" . Make sure the sheetmetal's not too thick, my car's only got about 1/8" ground clearance.

It's a very complicated underbelly. Nobody is going to be able to give you either all of the info you need, or just the info you need the way you need it.

You're gonna have to get on a lift and measure it yourself. Unfortunately, because you didn't know about this already, I suspect you don't have much chance of doing it successfully.

Not that it really matters, but why are you doing this? If it is to improve the aerodynamics of the car, just forget it. OEM manufacturers spend big-bucks to do this so you don't have to. It is likely that it wont help out at all. Most people think that lowering a tailgate on a pickup truck makes less drag as you are traveling down the road. Turns out, their gas milage goes to ****. Go figure.

This has got to be the fifth thread this week that's essentially "I'm going to make a great new product for the FD even though I don't know anything about the FD, automotive engineering, or even making stuff in general! It's going to be cheap and solve all the world's problems! Praise me! And while you're at it, could you do most of the work for me?"

ohh and about the pickup tail gate yes it does make your gasmilage go to **** because the vortex that was only about 1/4 the size of the bed of the truck is now the full length of the bed creating more drag

Your spelling, grammar, punctuation, and communication skills give a good indication of how much you know.

Learning to properly use a search engine can be very helpful when you are looking for information. In other words, Google is your friend. I went to www.google.com , and typed in "fd3s specifications" , and this was the first site listed in the results of my search:

http://www.rx7.net.nz/usspec.htm

The very first things listed are the the overall length & width, as well as wheelbase and track width. That should give you an idea of about how much material to buy.

I found your answer for you, in less time than you spent typing your new thread. It took longer to dig up this thread and copy & paste the web address than it took me to find that website. You're welcome.

Dude if you would have given more info about what type of car this was for and where your car was, you wouldn't have gotten so many smart a$$ responses. I personally don't try to criticize people but even I got the impression that you were to lazy to get the measurments yourself. You should have clarified things in the beginning.

Stop using that excuse. Not a single post on this forum has been aimed at you because you claim to be dyslexic. They were aimed at you because your topic shows a complete lack of thought and design put into this goal, as well as the question you originally asked.

Chitty chitty Bang bang...............Did'nt NASCAR and Jack Roush in particular, spend a lot of time developing aerodynamic devices designed to avoid flying?
