Thumbs up There's a girl on the forum???

Jesus for a while there I was wondering if this was the "He-Man Woman-Haters Club" (there's a Little Rascals reference for those of you old enough to appreciate it).

Don't know what price a 96 would fetch here in the States we don't get 'em. What you might try doing is going to www.kbb.com and looking up the price for a '95 similarly equipped and checking the exchange rate. You may have to bump the price up a little for it being a newer model, and extras like 18's, stereo etc.

Why would you trade a Rolls to get into an RX-7 though. I love mine but jeez a Rolls Royce??? I'd keep both. I dunno, maybe they're like Chevys over there.

Do you have pics of it? I'd like to see what the body kit looks like. When I was in London earlier this year, I saw RRs, Bentleys, and Jags going every which way.

My pilgrimage was to worship at the temple of Mclaren though.

damn, she got a chance at a 96!!!

go get it if it checks out! check out

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/buyaused.htm
and
http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/buying.html

those are the two most important sites you can get!

im not too sure about the price, i dont have a clue what 96's go for, here in america, we cant get anything over 95's and they are very rare!!!
also, make sure its a manual, autos are junk!

im not too sure about the ricarro effini body kit, but as for the performance, 0-60 in about 5 secs although its closer to 5.5-6 secs while the 1/4 miles times should be at 13.3-14 secs (problally due to tires and suspension). oh yeah, do a boost check, you should be getting 10-8-10 boost pattern when at 3rd gear at WOT. all this should be in the sites mentioned above. one last thing, if you don't feel a little scared of this car the first time (due to the light weight/hugh hp combo), there is something wrong with the car or you should have keep your old car. when you put the pedal to the metal, you should be thrown back in to you seat and keeps there (God I love that feeling). i personnaly came from a car with 40 rwhp 2 ton car to my 255-300+hp monster (yeah yeah i know that that is not that much but coming from my other car...) i currently drive, i was and still am freaked and am loving every moment of it!!!

P.S. Make sure those 18 inch rims don't rub your fenders, you may need to roll them(the fenders i mean). i had 17" and they rubbed mines although mines is dropped 1.5" in the back and 2" in the front.

good luck
