another candidate to forgo the FD and get an Evo...seriously, though, there are almost no cars than come with a V4.
Are you indicating that there are no cars that come with 4cylinders....... He stated a 1.3 liter not a 1.8, so therefore I used the V4 example, if you like Ill change my comment to a V6 if that makes you feel better. Or to better comprehend the simplicity of my example.
It's just a guess. It appears to be a 93, since it has the chrome acorn nuts on the UIM. It's my understanding that those were discontinued in subsequent years, so it wouldn't be a PEP. It has cruise, which is a little more involved to add to an R1 than the strut brace, so I went with the odds. And I'm not sure, but I was thinking an oil line coming from the second cooler should be visable. Could be a base, but it has cruise and IIRC there were more touring models in 93.

No, I was saying that V4s are practically non-existant. Incase you didn't know, V means something, and very few cars come with a V4. Almost al 4 cyl cars are I4s, and some are H4s.
Oh I see my mistake, LOL I guess I got caught up with all the other V's in the 8, 10 and 12's.
On the side note I know the difference as Ive worked on my cars and other's for the past 9years, sorry that I got offensive right away, I didn't realize that mistake.

you know, technically, atleast in All Data, the Subaru Flat blocks are considered a "180 Degree V4"
That is incorrect. A 180-degree V engine has two cylinders sharing the same crankpin; a true "Boxer" engine like the Subaru has a separate crankpin for each cylinder, which allows it to have perfect primary balance because the opposing forces of each side cancel each other out.
