M2 has always had VERY spotty customer service. There are people on this forum that have been waiting 6 weeks or MORE for M2 merchandise.

Apexi makes a nice exhaust, but so does Racing Beat.
Check out this thread if you haven't already.

Apexi is one of the loudest exhausts out there! If you like loud, cool. Otherwise M2 dual or Racing Beat all the way. Search its been beaten to ******* death...

Now...lets compare the two with a midpipe on!!!

Actually I'd really like to know how the M2 sounds with midpipe

Apexi N1 Dual w/M2 downpipe & N-tech High Flow Cat.
Though a bit noisy on 1st startup of day, once warmed up its fine for myself, also cruising on the freeway @ ~3000 RPM isn't cumbersome as well, especially when simply cruising w/ little engine load.

Laters,
Edgardo

id wait six months to have an m2 dual tip instead of that apexi n1dual

anyone who thinks the n1 dual sounds good never heard a decent exhaust on their fd.

w00t!

have an m2 exhaust? want to trade? I do. my n1 dual for your m2 dual tip. straight up. Hell, Ill even kick you fifty bucks and throw in two silencers.

Haha. Another complaint about the n1 dual sound. People wonder why I say n1 sound like ****.

You ever get that beast of yours tuned? I'm expecting to see the highest HP SEQUENTIAL twin turbo setup dyno sheet soon...

The N1 dual has to be one of the ugliest exhausts ever made for the FD....you don't just get one huge canister but you get two. If I had to choose between the two I would go with the racing beat dual which is basically the same as the M2 but you don't have to wait as long.

N1 Dual

Isn't it funny how passionately everyone either loves or hates the N1 Dual? You don't get very many people in the middle....

Of all the exhausts that I (three, just while the car was running) and friends with FDs have owned, the N1 dual is easily the worst that I've ever heard. I don't see how anyone could justify the weight of two pipes for most of its length as well as two canisters, not to mention that it's ugly as sin, but worst of all, IT SOUNDS LIKE ****.

There is no comparison between the M2 dual and the N1 dual. One looks like a stock muffler and sounds great. The other looks like **** and sounds like ****.

exhaust being singular.......there is no need for 2 canisters. At least the M2 dual is one muffler with 2 tips. the N1 dual is 2 seperate canisters.

Well, besides flow, appearance, sound, construction, and configuration, right?

I prefer the sound of my M2 dual over the Racing Beat but as everyone has sad good luck trying to actually get one. I was lucky enough to find mine slightly used so I didn't have to wait for delivery from M2 I would never pay that much in advance to a "real" shop and then have to wait months and months to actually receive my product.
