question about the smoke; would it release a lot of smoke after you let off gas goin wot at high rpms? My car smokes alittle or sometimes quiet a bit after going wot and letting off gas and holding it at lets say 7000rpm. Smoke always proceeds backfires.

I thought it was normal since its been doing it for a while and never really got worse. My car dosent smoke at all at startup and has 46K hard driven miles on original motor/twins

You bought new turbo to manifold gaskets? Those gaskets plus new studs and bolts are crazy expensive! Is Ray giving you a better deal than what Mazdatrix is selling them for?
ray is the man!!! yes he is why are they sooo dang expensive

yes!!! when the system is hot(obvious) the smoke will be evident when i come to rest at a stop light for about 5seconds to 20 seconds. do to the bad dynamic bearing on the hotside.

Uneven pressure is pushing the oil out on the hotside in my case.

I would have but with the stock motor having only 43k original miles, I rather wait and do a port job and fuel and GO all out when the time comes.
For now I love the twins for the weekend Canyons.
