Unhappy My turn for boost problems!

Well, I suppose this had to happen eventually, but I didn't think it would happen as soon as it did (I just got the car in March). I can't get more than 5 or so pounds of boost. I think it may be a boost leak, but I am not sure. When I am on the gas hard I get 5 pounds and then I hear an awful whine/whistle coming from the engine area. I tried revving the engine with the hood open to listen for leaks but it does not make the noise when I'm just revving it in neutral.

I am a bit nervous that it may be a more serious problem, because if I rev the engine while I'm in the garage a bit of moisture shows on the floor. However, it dissapears after awhile and it does not smell like coolant.

My car is a '93 R1 with 53K miles
mods are intake, catback, and ACT clutch
I have a DP, but Im not installing it until I get a PFC
I have not done the hose job because I was planning on going single in a year or two. I suppose I will do it if it is a solenoid problem.

Thanks

Sounds like a boost leak. There are lots of troubleshooting threads on the topic!
