My turn for boost help

I, at one time, was expierencing boost problems after the car was running perfectly fine the day before. Did a look over of the car under the hood, found zilch.
Did a bit of "the worm" on the ground and made my way under to look at the bottom side of the car, BINGO!! Found that the rod to the Turbo Control Actautor had poped off. Looked like the "C" clip had come loose some how and fallen off. I put a new "C" clip back on and was back to normal for a good month YAY.

The other day I was out and had the exact same boost problem happen again, primary feels good then when the secondary comes on the boost drops on its face. I automatically looked at the TCA rod again to see if it came off and to no avale it did. I fixed the poped off rod like before BUT this time I am not back to normal.

I am only getting approx half boost, feels like the secondary is comming on but it too is only about half. Its hard to tell because the boost is so low, only about .3 bar.

With the rod comming off like that again, has it effected something, is something stuck? Why after fixing the problem do i not get full boost back

any input?
cheers

It appears to me that you had two problems at once and you fixed one of them. You obviously have another probelm that is unrelated to the rod you fixed. Sometimes I think these cars hold a grudge against us and decide to break something on themselves to somehow retaliate against us for letting something else break in the first place. Ihate to sound like a broken record but I am going to tell you what you already know. You have a vacuum problem somewhere. Yes, it is possible to have an electrical problem with one of the solenoids but I am leaning more towards the vacuum side of the house. I can promise you that it is something simple. It will be a pain in the *** and hard as hell to find but it is always something simple. Check all of your lines and get back to me. Lets take it one step at a time.
