Talking My new toy.

Hey, Check out my new toy. Yep, I just got the Efini Y-pipe install on my car last week. I pick it up from another forum member.

As you can see, it not only looks better, it performs better as well. Now I'm sporting all polish aluminum pipes.
Bling Bling!
The inside walls of the Y-part no long has a BOV pipe protruding in the middle of the collector and the casting seems alot smoother too.

The cross over tube has a bigger I/D with wider radius turns for smoother air path. It now mounts on a flange. No more presure drop/leaks from that point.

Performance wise, I only saw about 3/4-1psi presure increase. It's not what I had expected, but my car must have been running stronger than I had thought. I don't know why Mazda skimp out with this set-up.

I used a product called HondaBrite or S100 cleaner both are the same product. The Germans have the best chemist

After that I spray it down with some ProHonda or Protect All...It keeps all the plastic from drying up.

Hey, Good to hear from you again, what are you up to these days? How the d/p situation?

What? You didn't get the whole thing polished?
No, I installed it the way it came. I was to lazy to take it down to the polishing place.
****, it may not be polish, but it feels good.

When you gonna hook up some rims?
Not yet, I'll do that after I refi my home loan. You know, gotta take care of business first. I'm thinking of getting some Volks for my car too. No, I won't be able to Bling as hard as you or Ahn

Oh, you should see what I got for Christmas :p I'll post it tomorrow night.

Sup Jay! Yea, the d/p gave me a noticeable gain in power... :p
I think it's time for me to get a FMIC, probably end up with a Blitz.
I'll probably get my audio system put in first, I've been holding off on
this forever.

What kind of Volks are you getting? 17's or 18's? Definitely go with
the 18's dood!

Your car is turning out real nice... now if only I can get my engine bay to look like yours. heh

Yea, we gotta hook up sometimes, you know, get the BLING crew
together.
