Thx for the advice. It was just a thought. Who knows, I may experiment and add some PIMP flavor to it

Thumbs up Like it!

I converted mine to the '99 style but I like your design too!

Some of the guys have said a "rotor" style would be unique. I would like to see that done too.

Well, these things take time to design.. it all started because some of my customer wanted something unique.. And I did one set for him at very very reasonable price.. And this new set is pretty much the same except for the turning signal.. As most of you when you try to do something like this, you will see that its not that easy.. Take some time to plan and actually excute them..

The Rotor design will be pretty hard.. But I might give it a shot later.. But I like to keep things simple.. Rotor.. hmm.. if I get enough interest, I'll do it..

I did read the entire thread... stop assuming. My point is, why in the hell was the comment even made!

BTW, I also hate people who make false assumptions.

HDP... Thanks for backing me up..

First of all.. I believe I was the first to come up with the idea about using vinyl type film to do the conversion.. I wasn't the one to make it.. but first to produce the tail light conversions.. If I'm wrong about being the first.. then at least on this forum I was.. I'm pretty positive about it.. And did not steal any ideas from anyone.. I been using this type of film for couple of years before my 7 and just gave me an idea.. and also I knew it was reversible.. That was the most important thing for me... Just in case I make a mistake on painting, I didn't want to get a new set of lights..

Well, I would like to get 150+ shipping.. Very Reasonable.. My normal 99 spec conversion is 100 + shipping.. I know its more than painted.. But painted takes less time.. because all you do is stick some circular stickers and spray with paint.. Mine, I have to hand hand cut each film w/ my template, Then Hand lay the film, etc.. Its about 3 times longer to do these then painted.. So, 150 is very reasonable.. Also, I'm only going to make limited numbers.. As part of the design came from my first customer and promised to only make 15..

Go to a hobby shop and get some "Polly-S ELO" Paint/Decal remover for Plastic. It will remove the 'getto" paint w/o damaging the plastic.

Well, I as I been doing this as a small business on the side, I would prefer to not give the templates away..

Also, it took about 2-3 weeks to get it right and finding a way to cut it..

I hope you understand, but I can't just give it away.. also, i promised the original buyer that i would only sell 10-15 sets.. As he wanted to own something different..

Good job for your own design but I too like the 99 spec look better and goodfella is right it does look like george lucas had a hand in your design.

I like the fact that its different. However, if i was going to do a conversion, it would be 99 spec or rotor, depending on how the latter turns out

well, I do custom jobs... if someone is willing to spend some money, I'll do rotors..

Of course, I also do 99 spec conversions.. but mine are more expensive than others.. just because it take more time than just grabbing a spray can and stick some stickers and paint.. i have hand lay the film on it and match it..
