My new look...

I took my super advans to a wheel repair shop and had the spokes painted black and had the lip polished. They also painted behind the wheels (black). Total Cost: $500. What do you guys think? A few compliments well help me justify the costs... heheheh

ok, am i the only guy that doens't like black rims?

i feel like rims kinda reflect personal style in the size design and color your choose, and when rims are black its looks alright brand new cause they still "look new" but overall i think they look dull, and make the whole car look dull, the rims don't have to be BLING BLING chrome, but just be able to see them...

sorry i had to get that off my chest, maybe im behind on the times

Personally I would have chosed silver for the rim color, but that's just me. I like the super Advans however, how much did you pay for yours (are they 17or 18s)

They're 17s. I got them from a friend for $800 with tires. He sold his 300Z and basically gave them away.

I think black rims look good on Silver, Red, and Yellow cars.

Well, add it up. A total of $1300 for Advans with tires and a shiny new coat of black. I think you did okay. And I think they look good too.

Yup! BTW, your paint still looks good! When did you say you were going to repaint? Perfectionist?

guys, Thanks for the compliments!

JoeD - This is the only pic I have of the front that is recent.

dclin - you can see the paint damage in the front. I also need to have the CF hood and Racing Beat air dam painted so I was gonna re-paint the whole car too.

I like the way it looks on your car...but generally I don't like black rims or 3 spoke rims. I know that in Japan that they love that stuff over there. Good Job though. I like it.
