The only problem with running them off one pump is you need to make sure the wire is rated higher than the fuse. Your going to need to run a 50amp fuse because your running both pumps on the same line. You need to make sure the wire will support more than the fuse or else in the event of a problem the wire would melt before the fuse blowes.
Also the other problem is in the event of a pump problem where the fuse would normally blow its probably not going to be able to blow a 50amp fuse.
I ran 2 seperate 12 gauge power wires each with its own 25amp fuse and switched relay along iwth seperate grounds as well.
I'm sure what you did is going to work...but I dont know if thats the best way to go about it.

not what I was talking about at all. that limit is only for idling and cruising, and is achieved thru a speed resistor.

Dual pump wiring?
How did you get the wiring threw the bulkhead. Did you use any special electrical bulkhead fittings?
Let me know, I'm doing the same thing next week. I have a nos y, all an fittings going through the bulkhead. My only concern is the electrical lines going through without leaking.

5 month project Done .... PICS
Hey I can't start a new thread so I will post this here. My car has been down since x-mas and I have basically replaced everything under the hood with new parts. What started out as getting my twins rebuilt has turned into getting a beastly GT42R custom turbo kit. I kept her looking stock on the outside for the sleeper look.
