My latest upgrade League 17" rims with Bridgestone Potenza RE720 (PICS)
Hi guys,
Now that I have updated my website I wanted to share with you the latest upgrades I have done to my FD. These are League 17" rims on which are mounted Bridgestone Potenza RE720 evolution, Size 235/40 both front and rare.
In short it has not been easy to finally make a decision on these but now I am fully satisfied since I got the look I wanted for my FD. From some 1000 rims available here in Malta only 5 were for an RX7, 3 of which were not of the size I wanted (17"), 2 others I did not like the desing. I then found and liked another which was not of polished aliminum but finally I got the design, size and material I wanted in these League rims. Had to loose 15 from the rare width of the tyre because the Bridgestone 250/40 fitted like a ball on these League rims but I got 10 extra on the front since my previous Yokohama were 225/40.
In the end again councled by my specialists and a local RX7 friend, I got the look I wanted for my car and more importantly I reduces the side swaying during acceleration problem I had. My rodeholding has improved by much.
The full story (it was hard to find what I wanted) and more better pic can be found at my site (link below). First pic is of my FD before(Yokohama gold Rims) rest as she is today after a good wax treatment.
Enjoy the pics of my Car and a bit of Malta's deep blue sea. Comments are welcome.
